Patriot One Technologies awarded Security Today’s ‘New Product of the Year’
Its AI-driven SmartGateway patron-screening solution is utilized in casinos.
Patriot One Technologies announced its SmartGateway patron screening solution was awarded Security Today’s ‘New Product of the Year’ prize. SmartGateway is a patron-screening solution placed at entrances to casinos, stadiums and other entertainment venues, to keep weapons out and enhance the visitors’ experience.
The technology is being used to keep casinos across the country safe, including the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in California, as well as live music venues such as the new Moody Center in Austin.
SmartGateway won in the category of Pedestrian Security Entrances. It uses AI sensors to unobtrusively scan for guns, knives and other banned items, without requiring a physical pat down. This is a significantly safer and less time-consuming approach than traditional walk-through metal detectors.
