Rush Street Interactive, first US-based online gaming company to receive RG Check iGaming Accreditation
Both the BetRivers and the PlaySugarHouse websites have received accreditation by the Responsible Gaming Council
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has become the first US-based online gaming and betting company to receive the RG Check iGaming accreditation by the Responsible Gaming Council.
The RG Check accreditation is valid for three years, after which point companies will have to re-apply. The accreditation itself is reviewed by independent responsible gaming specialists.
Richard Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer of RSI, operators BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com, said: “Receiving RG Check Accreditation is a testament to our commitment and execution of RSI’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which includes the continued implementation of the Company’s responsible gaming initiatives.”

RSI is currently live in 13 states and in the regulated market of Colombia as well. On April 4, the company will launch BetRivers in Ontario, Canada. BetRivers is a real-money online casino and sportsbook, which will make Canada the third country where RSI operates real-money online gaming.
RG Check accreditation is mandated in the requirements for every iGaming operator entering the Ontario marketplace by iGaming Ontario (iGO) to attain within two years of licensing.
