Entain Foundation US releases updated version of its Gamble Responsibly America app
The new version contains additional education and safe gambling resources that are available in four languages.
Entain’s non-profit organization, Entain Foundation US, has launched its second edition of the Gamble Responsibly America app. It is designed to provide information and support for those who are concerned about safe and responsible gambling.
The second edition has been upgraded with additional education features, including a frequently asked questions section, videos, discussions regarding disordered gambling, a list of concerning behavioral markers, as well as teaching material about how to establish safe gambling limits.
“The first version of Gamble Responsibly America was well-received and widely welcomed,” said Martin Lycka, Entain Senior Vice President for American Regulatory Affairs & Responsible Gambling and Trustee of the Entain Foundation US. “We’ve since been working hard on enhancements to provide an even more comprehensive tool for maintaining responsible gambling, as well as for preventing and mitigating problems, should they occur.”
The upgraded app features resources in four languages: English, Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. It offers users access to a live chat feature, links for additional help and support, a daily gambling diary and other self-assessment tools as well.
Android and iPhone users can download the app for free through Google Play Store and through the App Store.
“This second edition of Gamble Responsibly America underscores the helpful resources of the first edition, with more tools, more educational information, additional languages and more resources that are available anytime and anywhere,” Lycka said. “Our goal with the app is simple – to educate users on safe gambling habits and provide the necessary tools and resources to allow users to access help and support instantly.”
