Signature Systems and Yellow Dog Software roll out integrated inventory solution at Osage Casinos

Signature Systems (SSI) has launched an integrated inventory solution in partnership with Yellow Dog Software, connecting the company’s PDQ POS platform with Yellow Dog’s inventory management system to support operations across Osage Casinos’ retail and food and beverage outlets.
The integration went live in September and was introduced to meet inventory, reporting and ordering requirements within the casino group’s convenience store network before being extended across additional departments.
According to SSI, the connection is designed to provide real-time visibility into stock movement and improve cost-control processes across multiple categories.
Joe Roybal, Osage Casinos CIO, said: “For our retail stores to operate as efficiently as possible, we needed our inventory system to interface seamlessly with our POS.”
He added: “SSI delivered a solution that exceeded expectations while helping us maintain the best possible guest experience.”
The partnership enables item-level data to move automatically between systems. SKUs created in Yellow Dog Software are pushed directly into PDQ POS, while sales figures return to Yellow Dog to update inventory levels.
For food and beverage operations, menu items are categorised into cost-of-goods departments and can be linked to recipes for ingredient-level depletion and comparisons between actual and theoretical use.
Jay Livingood, Yellow Dog Software CEO, said: “Together, we’re making it easier for operators to gain real-time visibility, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across all areas of their operations.”
SSI reported that more than 40 casinos have adopted PDQ POS over the past five years.
John White, EVP/CTO at SSI, said: “The partnership gives our customers access to another premium, fully integrated solution within PDQ POS.”
The rollout at Osage Casinos marks the latest in a series of technology deployments for SSI in the tribal gaming sector.
In April 2025, Signature Systems equipped the newly expanded Prairie Flower Casino in Iowa with its POS solution, following the venue’s seven-fold growth to a 70,000-square-foot facility. The installation represented SSI’s first gaming partner in the state.
