The Prairie Flower Casino has partnered with Signature Systems, Inc. to update its point of sale’s technology.
The casino recently opened its expanded 70,000-square-feet facility, seven times larger than the original building. In February 2025, the venue implemented the SSI POS solution, becoming the first gaming property in Iowa to be equipped by Signature Systems.
The Iowa-based casino has been operating since 2018 and started its expansion in 2022, although the project fell behind schedule. It was originally expected to be completed in summer 2024 but wrapped up in early 2025.
Raymond Bertschy, Director of Food and Beverage at Prairie Flower Casino, said, “When we were evaluating the best possible vendors and partners for Prairie Flower Casino, SSI stood out to us.”
He also added, “SSI’s POS had the features we were looking for, but their reputation for reliability was the key factor in our decision. This casino will serve guests every hour of every day and we want them all to have the kind of experience that makes them want to come back.”
