Fanatics, Complex and MLB unveil Takashi Murakami championship collection celebrating Dodgers’ 2025 World Series win

Fanatics, Complex and Major League Baseball (MLB) have launched a limited-edition apparel collection to commemorate the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2025 World Series victory, marking the team’s second consecutive championship title.
The collection, created in partnership with artist Takashi Murakami, will be released on November 7 across multiple online and retail channels, including Complex.com, the Complex app, Fanatics, MLBShop in the US and Japan, the MLB app, the Dodger Stadium Team Store and the MLB Flagship Store in New York.
The special-edition line features T-shirts and hoodies incorporating the 2025 World Series Champions emblem, Murakami’s signature multicolored smiling flowers and the word “Dodgers” rendered in Japanese Katakana characters.
Murakami said, “Congratulations on winning the World Series… Game 7 was an unforgettable experience… I was in front of my TV, shouting at the top of my lungs in excitement.”
He added that working with the Dodgers, Complex and Fanatics throughout the season had been “an honor.”
The launch builds on Murakami’s earlier collaborations with MLB and Complex, including the Takashi Murakami x MLB Tokyo Series, which sold out within minutes and prompted overnight queues at Complex LA.
Murakami also appeared for a ceremonial first pitch at the Dodgers’ Japanese Heritage Night, which coincided with a capsule drop earlier this year.
The new championship line continues a broader apparel strategy from Fanatics and Complex, who have expanded artist-driven sports merchandise in recent years.
Earlier this month, the companies released the Billie Eilish x Mitchell & Ness NBA League Collection, extending a pattern of collaborations that previously included BLACKPINK and other high-profile artists.
Fanatics launched its first betting app in 2023, completed multiple state expansions through 2024, and entered the Philippines iGaming market in mid-2025. More recently, Fanatics debuted an NBA campaign featuring Megan Thee Stallion, highlighting its FanCash rewards program and expanded Fair Play injury protection.
