Camarones Mayor thanks provincial lottery support amid social initiatives

The Chubut Institute of Social Assistance has reintroduced Telebingo Itinerante, a traveling bingo program that combines entertainment with social action, to the town of Camarones after more than a decade.
The initiative formed part of the town’s 125th anniversary celebrations and was carried out in coordination with the provincial government.
The event drew strong community participation and featured four bingo rounds totaling more than ARS70m ($73,000) in cash prizes, along with the distribution of social contributions and equipment to local organizations.
The celebration concluded with a live concert by El Polaco, a popular cumbia singer and icon of Argentina’s tropical music scene.

Camarones Mayor Claudia Loyola thanked the provincial authorities and lottery leadership for the return of the event, stating: “We thank infinitely Lotería, Ramiro Ibarra, Daniel Cambón Rubí, and Governor Ignacio Torres for bringing Telebingo back to Camarones and for the social actions carried out in our town. It is a further sign of commitment to the development of every corner of Chubut.”
According to the provincial authorities, lottery proceeds are reinvested into local initiatives that support sports, culture, and community development, strengthening the state’s presence in smaller towns and promoting social inclusion through entertainment programs.
