Michigan grants Gaming Realms full license
Coming nine months after provisional license was granted, signals continued growth in the American market.
Noted UK-based game publisher and licensor, Gaming Realms, has had their IGaming Supplier License fully approved by the state of Michigan. The company, which had been granted a provisional license in January 2021, welcomed the decision which signals continued growth in the American market.
The move, announced today, means that Gaming Realms is now fully licensed in three states. Prior to Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania had been also authorized. An application which is still pending has also been submitted for the province of Ontario. In the same report, the company also announced that its Slingo gaming content has gone live at Wynnbet in New Jersey and at Fanduel in Michigan.
Michael Buckley, the executive chairman of Gaming Realms, struck an upbeat note upon Michigan’s decision, saying, “Gaming Realms is on track to deliver another excellent year of growth. Looking ahead, we have a strong pipeline of new licensing agreements and with the approval of a full iGaming Supplier License in Michigan we have further cemented our position in the US market. With our application process underway for Ontario we continue to look forward with confidence.”
Licensing revenue has been good for the company. During Q3 2021, content licensing revenue saw a 35% increase year-over-year. The stock of games the company has on offer has increased. With a consistently strong performance in Europe and North America, Gaming Realm is confident that it will hit its annual growth targets.
Gaming Realms creates next-generation real gaming content for use on mobile phones and is most well-known for developing bingo, slots and other such casual games.
