Tabcorp becomes NBA’s official Australian betting partner
Tabcorp has signed a multi-year partnership with the NBA, making it the official sports betting operator of the league in Australia.
Tabcorp will receive broadcasting rights and access to official NBA league marks.
The NBA TV channel will be shown in all of Tabcorp’s venues, which includes more than 4,400 retail and entertainment venues across Australia.
Following the agreement, NBA coverage will be shown on Tabcorp’s Sky Channel, the operator’s racing and sport broadcasting segment.
Adam Rytenskild, Tabcorp Managing Director for Wagering and Media, said: “Our goal is to support the growing appetite in Australia for the NBA, which currently features the strongest contingent of Australian players we have ever seen.
“The NBA is popular with our customers and we are proud to establish the partnership to bring fans of the competition a wide range of action in pubs, clubs and Tabs.”
Tabcorp signed a similar deal with the NFL last month, providing the operator with access to NFL RedZone content for its Sky Channel, in addition to NFL-branded content, products and experiences.
The NBA has multiple sports betting partners in the US, including William Hill, MGM Resorts International and Stars Group.
