MGM National Harbor debuts outdoor gaming terrace named ‘Casino Al Fresco’

MGM National Harbor in Maryland announced it has added an outdoor gaming terrace named “Casino Al Fresco” that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Guests will be able to slots such as Dancing Drums, Buffalos and 88 Fortunes and receive cocktail service.
Located on the eastern shore of the Potomac River, MGM National Harbor’s outdoor terrace overlooks northern Virginia.
“We are excited to open one of the country’s most unique gaming settings,” said Alex Alvarado, vice president of casino operations. “Our guests will love the ability to take their casino experience outside where they can enjoy a cocktail and fabulous views of the region.”
The outdoor terrace is also a way for MGM National Harbor to expand its gaming options without touching the casino’s 50% capacity.
Even with limited capacity, MGM National Harbor continues to lead Maryland casinos in gaming revenue. The property earned $66.5m in March, a 6% increase from the same month in 2019.
Live! Casino & Hotel wasn’t far behind at $61.8m last month.
MGM National Park offers a 125,000-square-foot casino floor with more than 120 table games and over 3,000 slots. The casino also has a second floor poker room and a race book.
