After seven years with the company, VP of Product and Strategy Brandon Cohen is resigning from Better Collective’s subsidiary, Action Network.
Cohen recently shared the news on his social media platform, expressing his appreciation for the opportunities, experiences and memories he’s made with Better Collective.
He wrote in his LinkedIn post, “I’m proud of the products we’ve built and grateful for the people I had the opportunity to build them with. Since I can’t possibly tag everyone, I want to thank (there are so many!), I’ll say this: I feel fortunate to have had a front row seat to so many masterclasses.
“Whether they were led by experts in betting, professionals in product development and content creation, or leaders in positioning, storytelling, and strategy, I learned so much. It was truly a privilege to work alongside enthusiastic collaborators willing to experiment, go beyond their mandate, and push unrelentingly – and for one another – to tip the scales in our favor.”
The executive said the decision to step away from Action Network was a difficult one.
Cohen plans to spend time with family and friends and decide what he wants to do next in his career.
He said in closing, “I’m not sure I’ll ever again work with a cast of characters quite as unique as Action’s. There were stars in leading roles, many who played dual roles, and countless character actors who made memorable cameos. I’m so glad we all found each other on the same stage; it was special. To then have a chance to take our performance to the next level with talented Better Collective colleagues from around the world made it all the more fulfilling. “I’ll miss being in the thick of the action this season with my colleagues and friends, though I’ll be in the app daily. I’m eager to see, and use, all the amazing features yet to come.”
