SEGG Media has initiated plans to re-launch its Lottery.com brand and re-enter the domestic US lottery market, announced at the same time as the Powerball Jackpot reaching an estimated $1.4bn ahead of a drawing scheduled for September 3.
“Massive prizes like this week’s Powerball estimated $1.3 Billion jackpot bring out the casual players and introduce new consumers to the fun and excitement of lottery games,” SEGG Media COO Gregory Potts said.
“As more states adopt iLottery programs, we will use the Lottery.com brand to promote and expand those digital initiatives and increase the community benefits supported through lottery ticket sales across the country.”
The company will also unveil its first-ever nationwide lottery rewards program and has begun the process to serve as an official affiliate partner of iLottery programs in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Michigan.
“Through our rewards program, SEGG Media will deliver a win-win solution that supports state lotteries, creates more value for players and drives growth for retailers. We strongly believe our shareholders will see the value in using the Lottery.com brand to support, rather than compete, with local retailers and state lottery associations,” Potts said.

The new rewards program will be launched in separate phases beginning in late 2025, while participating states and retailers are expected to be announced by SEGG Media in the coming weeks.
SEGG Media stated it hopes the new rewards program will “allow players to earn exclusive rewards, promotions and experiences,” as well as create various engagement opportunities for retailers “who serve as the backbone of lottery distribution.”
