PrizePicks has announced the launch of a new free-to-play jackpot contest offering players the chance to win a share of a $1m prize.
The game, unveiled ahead of the NFL football season on September 4, tasks participants with predicting the first touchdown scorer in eight selected games of the week one slate. Players who successfully choose all eight outcomes will share the $1m jackpot, while additional rewards such as payout boosts and free lineups will be available for those who make at least one correct pick.
The contest will also feature a live leaderboard, with final outcomes determined on September 8. According to PrizePicks, the initiative forms part of its wider free-to-play strategy designed to expand engagement with fans nationwide.
“We’re always looking for new ways to raise the stakes for our players, and this contest delivers that excitement with the chance to win a $1 Million jackpot,” PrizePicks SVP of Product Dylan Cooper said.

The new free-to-play contest will run weekly throughout the 2025-2026 football season, with entry open to all PrizePicks users nationwide.
