Operator MGM Resorts International has announced the release of a new online casino adaptation of Family Feud, developed in collaboration with long-standing partner, Playtech.
This newly announced launch will see a full suite of streaming content, recorded live in Las Vegas from studio’s located at MGM Grand’s casino floor and distributed via live stream to operators outside of the US market. Indeed, this launch represents the first time in which a live-streamed game show will be broadcast from a Las Vegas casino floor and made available for distribution to operators outside of the US market – according to the collaborating companies.
Having originally partnered on the development and launch of live dealer table content last June, this latest update represents a further step in MGM Resorts’ and Playtech’s ongoing collaborative effort. Now, with the pair having obtained the official rights to Family Feud by Fremantle, this latest rollout will allow players to access the classic gameshow adaptation via this reimagined format.
Speaking on this latest launch, MGM Resorts International President, Gary Fritz, said, “MGM Resorts, with Playtech and Fremantle, is at the forefront of digital gaming bringing the iconic Las Vegas experience to people around the globe. The live dealer studio marks a major step in our growth strategy and pursuit of being the world’s premier gaming entertainment company. We will continue working to create unforgettable moments and new ways to enjoy what the Las Vegas Strip has to offer.”
For MGM Resorts, this latest development falls shortly after the unveiling of the operator’s Q2 2025 financial results in July – with the company having recorded a record-high quarterly net revenue of $4.4bn, despite a 73.8% drop in net income year-over-year.

For Playtech, this latest news follows a recent campaign of expansive moves in the North American market – with the supplier launching in West Virginia at the end of the second quarter. Elsewhere, the company also recently partnered with High Roller in Ontario’s iGaming market – as well as debuting its live trivia gameshow in New Jersey, developed in partnership with Hard Rock Digital, in May.
Commenting on this latest deal, Playtech CEO, Mor Weizer, added, “We’re proud to unveil our full suite of live-streamed experiences from Las Vegas, now featuring Family Feud. This next phase of our collaboration with MGM Resorts and Fremantle represents our shared ambition to redefine live gaming entertainment. Together, we’re introducing a new category of immersive and engaging content to support growth in regulated markets, built on a foundation of robust compliance and player protection.”
