High Roller partners with Playtech for Ontario’s iGaming market

High Roller Technologies and Playtech recently announced a strategic partnership aimed at bringing High Roller’s platform and brand to players in the Canadian province of Ontario.
High Roller CEO Ben Clemes celebrated the partnership by saying, “Collaborating with Playtech in Ontario is an exciting step for High Roller as we continue to grow and evolve.
“Playtech’s well-established technology will be instrumental to our mission of providing a world-class entertainment experience for our players.”
Playtech Chief Revenue Officer Sergey Harutyunyan agreed and expressed the company’s eagerness to team up with High Roller in Canada.
He commented, “We are delighted to partner with High Roller as they expand into Ontario. Playtech’s technology is designed to support operators in regulated markets, and we look forward to working together to provide High Roller’s players with safe, innovative and engaging gaming experiences.”
In addition to the partnership, High Roller has submitted an Internet Gaming Operator license application in the province.
High Roller hopes to launch live operators in Ontario by the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
In other Playtech news, the company and Hard Rock Digital recently released a live trivia game show title in the state of New Jersey on Hard Rock Bet.
Playtech’s Live Trivia Game Show is hosted by game show presenters as a quiz-based segment. Players can answer trivia questions in real-time for prize wins and customize the settings for personal design, language and theme preferences.
“The introduction of Playtech’s Live Trivia now adds a new layer of engagement, offering players an exciting, interactive experience beyond traditional casino gaming,” Playtech said in a statement.
