New Jersey revenue reported to be $606.2m for July 2025, rises 10.7%

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported the state’s total gaming activity for July 2025, including an increase in revenue of 10.7% year-over-year for a total of $606.2m. Year-to-date revenue is currently at $3.92bn, reflecting an increase of 8.8% from the prior year-to-date period.
Casino win and iGaming accounted for the vast majority of total revenue throughout the month, generating $284.1m and $247.3m, respectively, and increasing 4.3% and 26.6% year-over-year. Sports wagering managed to produce $74.8m of revenue for July 2025 but decreased by 6.6% from the prior year period, while the state’s monthly handle was reported to be $664m.
Both slot machine and table game revenue grew year-over-year, generating revenues of $212.9m and $71.3m, respectively, for increases of 2.7% and 9.7%. Online sports wagering accounted for $75.4m of the gaming type’s total revenue for July 2025, but was held back by retail activity which reported a loss of over $680,000. The figures each represent decreases from the prior year period, however, as online revenue fell 3.2% and retail activity dropped 132.8% year-over-year.
Borgata Atlantic City generated the highest casino win of any property conducting business in New Jersey, amounting $79.9m and increasing 5.2% year-over-year. Hard Rock Atlantic City also eclipsed the $50m mark for July 2025, reporting $55.1m of casino win for growth of 0.8% from the prior year period.
Caesars, Golden Nugget and Tropicana all witnessed decreases in casino win year-over-year, falling by 5.9%, 8.6% and 1%, respectively, for totals of $18.8m, $12.9m and $22.9m. Ocean Casino Atlantic City managed to increase its revenue by 18.2% from the prior year period, generating a total casino win of $43.1m throughout the month.

FanDuel led all operators in iGaming revenue for July 2025, edging out DraftKings by reporting $52.1m for growth of 37.8% year-over-year, while the runner-up managed to produce $48.6m and rose 16.8%. BetMGM and Borgata also witnessed increases in iGaming revenue from the prior year period, accounting for $31.4m and just under $20m, respectively, to grow 24.3% and 6.4%.
Caesars Palace Online Casino and Hard Rock Bet reported iGaming revenues above $10m as well, reaching $18.7m and $13.4m while increasing by 53.3% and 29.4% from the prior year period. FanDuel also managed to generate the highest online sports wagering revenue of any operator, but fell 15.7% year-over-year to $26.9m. DraftKings also witnessed a decrease in online revenue for July 2025, reporting $21.1m and falling 18.8% from the prior year period.
BetFanatics reported significant online sports wagering revenue growth of 200.2% year-over-year for a total of $8m, while BetMGM produced nearly $6.4m and increased 21.5%. Finally, bet365 witnessed positive momentum throughout New Jersey, increasing its revenue by 45.4% from the prior year period to account for $4.4m of revenue for July 2025.
