Exacta System inks agreement with AGS
Deal brings AGS game content to Exacta’s historical horse racing system.
Exacta Systems said it recently signed an agreement with Las Vegas-based gaming equipment supplier AGS to bring AGS content to the Exacta historical horse racing system.
AGS started in the Class II Native American gaming market, but over the years it has added Class III slot products, table game and more.
Exacta provides historical horse racing (HHR) machines to gaming venues in Kentucky, Virginia and Wyoming.
On Tuesday, the two companies said AGS games – featured on AGS game cabinets – have been on Exacta’s system in Kentucky and Virginia since September 2020.
Currently, AGS’ Orion Portrait cabinets, with game content such as Rakin’ Bacon!, Peacock Beauty, Tiger Lord, Winter of the Dragon and Wolf Queen, can be found at Kentucky Downs, Rosie’s Gaming Emporium Richmond (pictured) and Rosie’s Gaming Emporium Vinton.
Exacta Systems CEO Jeremy Stein said in a statement, “We are thrilled to have AGS as a partner in the growing historical horse racing market. Their high-performing games in the Class III and Class II markets were expected to be top performers in HHR, and have quickly become player favorites after going live just a few months ago.”
Stein said AGS games are outperforming expectations and are a hit with Exacta’s Kentucky and Virginia customers, he said, adding Exacta looks forward to offering AGS products in other jurisdictions.
AGS EVP Matt Reback said, “We are excited about our entry into this market and look forward to continuing to support and help this market grow by providing an exceptional casino-style player experience.”
