The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) has recently approved Pollard Banknote Limited as a licensed gaming-related vendor.
As a federal gaming authority in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the GCGRA oversees commercial gaming and lottery activities throughout the region.
The approval will allow the company to offer its gaming-related products to clients throughout the region. This awarded license will create an opportunity for new partnerships in the UAE.
Company Co-CEO Doug Pollard celebrated the recent approval by saying, “We are very excited for the wide variety of opportunities this new license will afford Pollard Banknote.
“We are eager to foster a strong partnership in the UAE and introduce our portfolio of proven, innovative lottery and gaming products and services that will help boost revenue and support charitable causes.”
Pollard Banknote serves as a full-service gaming and lottery provider. The company currently has operations in North America, as well as in Europe, with lottery clients from around the world.
In other company news, Pollard Banknote Limited recently released new information regarding its contract with Michigan iLottery. The state’s iLottery has published the results of the Internet Sales Platform & Related Services request for proposal.
Through a joint venture with a third-party technology provider, Pollard Banknote provides services to the Michigan iLottery under a contract that is set to expire in July 2026.
