Konami completes gaming-related vendor licensing for UAE access

Konami Gaming has officially completed its gaming-related vendor licensing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), joining fellow suppliers such as Scientific Games and Light & Wonder in gaining market access to the country in 2025.

Konami appointed Jingoli as its new President and COO on June 30 after serving for more than 20 years with the supplier, where he currently oversees day-to-day operations, execution and partnerships throughout the business.
Scientific Games and Light & Wonder obtained similar gaming-related vendor licensing in the UAE on May 27 and July 21, respectively, helping to showcase a growing level of interest in accessing the country.

The company was awarded its gaming-related vendor license by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), an independent entity of the UAE Federal Government which holds exclusive jurisdiction to regulate, license and supervise all commercial gaming activities within the country.
Konami also extended its mobile reach to Portugal in April 2025, having formed a new collaboration with the Solverde Group to offer online slot games to residents after developing land-based titles in the country for over 10 years.
