Scientific Games secures supplier license in UAE

Scientific Games has obtained a license from the local regulator to operate as a Gaming-Related Vendor in the United Arab Emirates.

This license authorizes the company to supply lottery products and services within the country.

Scientific Games operates across five continents, delivering retail and digital games, technology, analytics and related services to 150 lotteries in 50 countries worldwide.

The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), which was established in 2023, serves as the federal executive agency responsible for regulating and overseeing all commercial gaming activities in the UAE.

Good to know: Scientific Games has been consistent in its US expansion, securing agreements with the Florida Lottery, Iowa Lottery and a 10-year contract with the New Mexico Lottery

BMM Testlabs was recently authorized to conduct testing of gaming products for the UAE Lottery, the officially licensed lottery and commercial gaming program of the United Arab Emirates. This announcement was followed by the approval of Aristocrat to provide its land-based electronic gaming machines (EGMs), as well as its online games and technology solutions, to other operators licensed by the GCGRA.
