Key Points
- Synkros was selected by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, said to represent an “important milestone” between the Tribe and Konami
- Members of the Tribe’s 29 Rewards Loyalty Club will have access to points, offers, promotions, etc. when visiting either Spotlight 29 Casino or Tortoise Rock Casino
The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians has selected Konami Gaming’s Synkros casino management system (CMS) to be integrated at both Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino in southern California, representing an “important milestone” between the Tribe and supplier.
“The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is giving guests the best opportunity to experience and maximize loyalty rewards across its gaming portfolio through the go-live of Konami’s Synkros technology,” Konami VP of Systems Sales Randy Caron said.
“Whether visiting the blackjack table at Spotlight 29 Casino, or spinning the newest slots at Tortoise Rock Casino, patrons can earn points in real-time, to use across a wide mix of amenities exclusive to the Tribe’s offering.”

Good to know: Konami announced a new collaboration with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation on January 14 that will see the supplier develop the next generation of BC Gold slots across the province
“The move to Synkros is the first step towards creating a more customer friendly experience and personalized service for each of our 29 Rewards Loyalty Club members. They can seamlessly play, earn points and choose how to use those points across our Tribe’s two casinos and Shelee’s Travel Center,” Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians Chairman Darrell Mike said.
Synkros’ system architecture and tools are aligned to assist in future innovation across the Tribe’s gaming venture portfolio in areas such as multi-site functionality and marketing.
Back in April, Konami partnered with Solverde Group to bring real-money slots to the online market in Portugal, Europe.
