The American Gaming Association (AGA) has launched the Play Smart Consumer Hub, a new online platform designed to help consumers make informed gaming decisions. The hub expands upon AGA’s “Play Smart from the Start” initiative, which promotes responsible habits among players.
“The AGA is committed to making responsible gaming a seamless part of the player experience,” said Bill Miller, President and CEO of the AGA. “The Play Smart Consumer Hub provides players with straightforward, actionable tools to help them stay in control and keep gaming fun.”
Grounded in player research, the program highlights three principles: Right State of Mind, encouraging players to set personal limits and stay present; Know the Game, which helps demystify odds and game mechanics and Act Intentionally, promoting budgeting and awareness during play.
The hub includes a Pre-Play Checklist, a Responsible Gaming IQ Quiz, clear access to support services and state self-exclusion tools. For operators, the Industry Toolkit provides creative assets and messaging guidance to ensure responsible gaming initiatives are integrated at all customer touchpoints.

“Whether an operator or supplier is building a new program or refreshing an old one, this toolkit makes it easy to deliver consistent, player-first messaging,” added Miller.
