WinnaVegas Casino Resort warns of fraudulent iGaming advertisements

WinnaVegas Casino Resort has issued an official warning to players and guests of fraudulent online gaming advertisements which have stated the operator offers real-money online slots, table games and other forms of remote wagering.
WinnaVegas Casino Resort has been made aware of a deceptive online advertisement falsely claiming the casino now offers real-money online gaming accessible to Iowa residents. This claim is inaccurate, unauthorized and entirely false,” WinnaVegas Casino Resort said in the release.
“WinnaVegas Casino Resort does not offer real-money online slots, table games or any form of remote wagering. All gaming operations are fully regulated and conducted exclusively in person at the Sloan, Iowa resort property.”
Tom Teesdale, GM of the property, also shared his concerns regarding the fraudulent claims, having said, “Advertisements circulating online that suggest WinnaVegas is now ‘officially online’ and offering real-money play for Iowa residents are entirely fabricated.
“We are actively working to have these fraudulent ads removed and are urging our guests to be vigilant and avoid engaging with any links or platforms that claim to represent WinnaVegas in this way.”

According to the release, WinnaVegas Casino Resort is “not alone” in being targeted by these “misleading schemes,” as other Tribally owned casinos have also been falsely represented in similar fraudulent campaigns.
