PGCB reports record monthly gaming revenue during March 2025; sets new iGaming record with $238.2m

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported new monthly records in both total gaming revenue and iGaming revenue for the state throughout March 2025 with figures of $574.5m and $238.2m, respectively.
The state’s total gaming revenue reported by the PGCB represents an increase of 3.6% year-over-year, while iGaming rose by 24.7% from the prior year period to eclipse the previous record set during December 2024 at nearly $223.7m.
Hollywood Casino generated the most gaming revenue of any property within Pennsylvania, reporting a total of $107.2m and increasing by 21.6% from the prior year period. Valley Forge Casino Resort and Parx Casino managed to generate $86.2m and $58.9m, respectively, but also witnessed decreases of 2% and 1.1% year-over-year.
Retail slot revenue was a close second to iGaming accounting for the highest revenue of any gaming type, having produced $222.5m but falling by 2.4% from the prior year period.
iGaming slot revenue was the primary driver of the record monthly revenue, increasing by 32.5% year-over-year for a total of $179.5m during March 2025. Sports wagering reported the largest decrease of any gaming type within the state, falling by 40.7% to $27m.
Hollywood Casino also managed to generate the highest iGaming revenue of any property throughout the period, reporting $90.7m for an increase of 25.5% year-over-year. Valley Forge Casino Resort and Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported iGaming revenues of $64.8m and $38.6m, respectively, representing increases of 27.5% and 17.9% from the prior year period for March 2025.

Park Casino accounted for the highest amount of retail slot revenue of any property in Pennsylvania, also managing to increase by 0.2% year-over-year for a total of $34.4m during March 2025.
Wind Creek Bethlehem and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh witnessed decreases of 5.8% and 3.6% from the prior year period, respectively, but still managed to generate $25.8m and $24.3m of retail slot revenue during the period.
For sports wagering, Valley Forge Casino Resort and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows represented the vast majority of revenue produced during March 2025, reporting totals of $9.4m and $8.8m. The total handle generated in Pennsylvania throughout the period was reported to be nearly $842.9m, which represents an increase of 5.3% year-over-year.
