New Jersey gaming revenue grows 5.1% during February 2025 to $484.8m

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported the state’s gaming revenue throughout February 2025, including an increase of 5.1% year-over-year and a total revenue of $484.4m during the period. 

While both sports wagering and iGaming revenues managed to increase from the prior year period, New Jersey’s casino win for February 2025 decreased by 3.8% year-over-year for a total of $203.5m. 

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa reported the majority of the state’s casino win during the period, generating $49.9m and followed closely behind by Hard Rock Atlantic City which accounted for $41.9m. Nine properties in New Jersey currently report to the DGE, with year-to-date (YTD) casino win having decreased by 0.7% year-over-year for a total of $413.5m. 

iGaming revenue increased by 14% year-over-year to generate $207.8m, the highest total of any gaming offering in New Jersey throughout February 2025. Golden Nugget Atlantic City reported $60.1m in iGaming revenue during the period, while Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Resorts Casino Hotel accounted for $51.5m and $48.8m, respectively.

The YTD iGaming revenue was reported to be $429.4m, reflecting an increase of 17.4% from the prior YTD period.

Sports wagering revenue grew by 8.9% from the prior year period for a total of $73.6m during February 2025, primarily generated by New Meadowlands Racetrack, including a FanDuel sportsbook retail location, which accounted for nearly $33.9m throughout the period. 

Resorts Casino Hotel, which offers both DraftKings and ESPN Bet to customers, generated $21.8m of sports wagering revenue, $20.3m of which was reported by DraftKings. Sports wagering revenue for YTD was reported to be $195.8m, decreasing by 17.9% year-over-year. 

While casino win and sports wagering YTD revenues witnessed decreases year-over-year, New Jersey’s total YTD gaming revenue still managed to increase by 1.8% to $1.04bn throughout the period.
