IGT celebrates improved ESG score

IGT recently announced that it has earned an environmental, social and governance (ESG) score of 4.3 out of 5.0 from FTSE Russell. The company said this score puts IGT in the 97th percentile of FTSE Russell’s Travel and Leisure sector.

IGT said in a statement, “This was an improvement from IGT’s previous ESG Score of 4.2 out of 5.0 in 2023, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to enhancing ESG performance.”

Company SVP Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Wendy Montgomery expressed IGT’s excitement for its recent achievement.

She commented, “As a company committed to continually elevating our sustainability practices and leadership, IGT is proud to once again achieve an improved ESG score from FTSE Russell. 

“Through our global Sustainable Play program, we execute sustainable practices and policies throughout our company and this improved score validates our ongoing efforts.”

In other company news, IGT recently extended its contract with the Tennessee Education Lottery (TEL).

Its collaboration with the TEL will officially renew in 2027 and continue until June 2036.

IGT COO Global Lottery Jay Gendron commented, “IGT has been committed to bringing best-in-class lottery solutions to the Tennessee Education Lottery since its inception.

“Through this nine-year contract extension, we are excited to bring new technological upgrades to the Lottery, providing them the systems and equipment needed to drive performance for its players and the good causes it serves in the state.”
