Delaware sports betting handle reaches $26.3m for November
The state reported significant year-over-year growth last month.

Delaware has published its November sports lottery monthly report. Players in the First State purchased close to 1.4 million tickets during the month.
Wagers placed by bettors statewide reached $26.3m last month, with players walking away with $22m in winnings.
Last month’s handle nearly tripled what the state reported in November 2023.
Net proceeds reached close to $2.7m during November, with the state collecting more than $1.7m as its share.
Delaware Park ended the month as the state’s top earner. Sports sales at Delaware Park accounted for more than half of the state’s November handle and reached $15m during the month.
Harrington reported the second-largest sale total in November, which totaled more than $4.9m.
Local retailers and Bally’s Dover grabbed the third and fourth place spots when it came to last month’s sports sales. Sales from local retailers reached almost $4m, while Bally’s Dover posted sales that reached $2m.
So far this fiscal year, total sports betting handle in Delaware has reached $92.7m, with more than 5 million tickets sold, according to the state report.
To date, 38 states have welcomed regulated sports betting since the US Supreme Court overturned the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA) in May 2018, also known as the Bradley Act.
Voters in Missouri pulled the lever in favor of a legal sports wagering market during this week’s election, bringing the state one step closer to becoming the 39th state to offer players access to legalized sports betting.
