Penn Entertainment, ESPN debut linking feature on ESPN Bet platform

Penn Entertainment and ESPN have announced that customers can now link their ESPN and ESPN Bet accounts. The new feature will allow players to integrate their media and betting activities, as well as track upcoming, settled and live bets on both the ESPN website and through the app.
Penn’s ESPN Bet brand formation is a result of the partnership between Penn Entertainment and ESPN. Penn Entertainment rebranded its previous sportsbook, which is currently licensed in 16 US states, to form the ESPN Bet name.
As Penn’s US sportsbook, ESPN Bet offers sports fans access to “custom content identity to live across the entire ESPN ecosystem, inclusive but not limited to in-app, digital, social and programming.”
Penn Entertainment CTO Aaron LaBerge celebrated the duo’s recent achievement by saying, “Bringing this new feature to market is an important step as we work to create a fully interconnected media and betting ecosystem between ESPN and ESPN Bet.
“Account linking allows us to better serve and engage our users by unlocking key personalization and promotional capabilities. This feature is just the beginning of deeper integrations that will further differentiate the ESPN Bet experience.”
Penn said that providing the linking feature will pave the way to offer fans access to more personalized betting options and promotional offers that are tailored to players’ team and sports preferences.
ESPN Bet and ESPN Fantasy VP Mike Morrison explained further by commenting, “Linking ESPN and ESPN BET accounts is part of the seamless, integrated betting experience we envisioned from the start.
“No other company in the betting space can offer the level of personalization or interconnected experience that ESPN BET provides.”
