FanDuel celebrates third annual Play Well Day
The company said it hopes to continue building a culture focused on responsible gaming.
FanDuel recently held Play Well Day as part of this month’s Responsible Gaming Education Month. This is the third year the company has set aside a day to affirm its commitment to responsible gaming and to supporting its players.
As part of the celebration, the operator held events across its offices in collaboration with Epic Global Solutions. FanDuel hosted live experience sessions to raise awareness “and humanize the issue of problem gambling.”
“Today, we celebrated our thrid annual Play Well Day, a day focused on FanDuel’s commitments to responsible gaming and the role every employee plays in supporting our players,” FanDuel shared on a social media post.
“At FanDuel, we aim to set the standard for what it means to be a responsible operator and we look forward to continuing to build a culture of responsible gaming across our organization.”
Other company events included a live-stream program that featured the leadership, employees and responsible gaming ambassadors at FanDuel.
In partnership with Operation HOPE, FanDuel also participated in community impact activities.
The company teamed up with the nationally-known non-profit at the beginning of the year to empower Massachusetts players and encourage responsible gaming.
The duo offers free financial counseling to residents throughout the state through a program called HOPE Inside.
Players can get free access to in-person financial health sessions with a financial wellbeing coach, as well as to resources that can help improve credit scores and manage entertainment spending.
