BetMGM debuts mobile app nationwide access feature in Nevada
Players can bet in Nevada and take their funds to the nationwide mobile market.
BetMGM has released an option on its app that will allow players in Nevada to streamline their connectivity around the country through a single digital wallet feature, which is powered by Entain’s technology.
The iGaming and sports betting company has teamed up with parent companies MGM Resorts International and Entain to offer this digital wallet.
With this option, players throughout Nevada can place bets in the state and take their funds to BetMGM mobile markets around the country.
The company further explained how the feature works in a statement, “When traveling to another jurisdiction, users will receive a pop-up message upon opening the app allowing them to switch to their account within the BetMGM market where they are currently located.
“Customers also can manually select their market within the app’s account tab to view their account for that state.”
Players throughout the state can sign up in-person through MGM’s retail locations or by using the BetMGM mobile app.
Company CEO Adam Greenblatt said that the company is excited to offer Nevada players more convenient ways to access funds and payments.
He commented, “We’re proud to lead the charge in Nevada with a single account and wallet that simplifies and elevates the betting experience.
“Our players can now immerse themselves in the excitement of MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas destinations or statewide while seamlessly continuing to place wagers in other BetMGM markets.”
To date, BetMGM has extended its digital footprint to include more than 25 jurisdictions. During the past year, the brand launched in six North American markets, including New York, Louisiana, Illinois, Ontario, Kansas and Maryland.
BetMGM is currently live in 29 US states.
