Sporttrade launches sports betting app in Iowa
The app is now available to players in three US states.
Philadelphia-based sports betting operator Sporttrade has expanded its reach into Iowa through a partnership with Wild Rose Casino & Hotel. Hawkeye State players in Iowa can now access betting options through Sporttrade’s betting app.
With the addition of Iowa, the company’s sports betting app is now available in three states.

Company CEO Alex Kane noted that Sporttrade desires to bring sports betting opportunities to players all over the country and thanked supporters in Iowa for the recent launch.

Iowa players can download the app through iOS. The company said the app will be available to Android users later this year.
In other state news, the city of Cedar Rapids could be home to a new casino if the state does not extend a moratorium that delays new casino license filings.
However, plans for a new casino in Cedar Rapids could be pushed back another five years if state legislators agree to extend the deadline.
