Vikings WR Jordan Addison Gets Important Update Involving Trespassing Case
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison received an important legal update involving his trespassing case. The case stems from a trespassing incident that occurred last week at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
What Happened to Jordan Addison?
On January 12, the Seminole Indian Police arrested Addison at Hard Rock Casino at 3:46 a.m. ET.
According to police reports, Addison was asked multiple times to leave the Jubao Palace Noodle Bar at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida.
Addison reportedly had to be “redirected towards the exit” while being escorted out of the building.
Three hours later, Addison was booked at the Hillsborough County jail. Addison received a misdemeanor trespassing charge. The Vikings receiver posted a $500 cash bond and was released later that afternoon.
Addison’s court arraignment was scheduled for February 3.
Latest Legal Update for Jordan Addison’s Case
Earlier this week, there was a resolution involving Addison’s case.
Florida prosecutors announced they are dropping the case and will not be charging Addison with misdemeanor trespassing.
Florida state attorney Susan Lopez issued a termination of prosecution notice in Hillsborough County court on Tuesday. With the dropping of the case, Addison’s $500 bond was released.
Brian Pakett, Addison’s attorney, released a statement citing his client’s innocence.
“As Mr. Addison’s agent has advised, from the very outset of this incident and arrest, Mr. Addison committed no legal wrongdoing,” Pakett said. “We are thrilled that the truth was finally revealed and this poor man’s name was not besmirched any longer. I am thankful we were able to bring this to light as quickly as possible.”

Addison’s legal issues are becoming a pattern.
In July 2023, Addison was arrested for speeding and reckless driving. While driving his Lamborghini Urus, Addison was clocked going 140 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone at 3 a.m. ET.
The driving incident occurred before Addison reported to his first training camp as a member of the Vikings.
Addison told authorities that he was recklessly driving at that time due to a medical emergency involving his dog.
After pleading guilty to a petty misdemeanor, Addison had his driver’s license revoked for half a year and paid a $686 fine.
In July 2024, Addison was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles after falling asleep in the driver’s seat of his car, which was blocking a lane on a highway near LAX.
Addison was guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving over the BAC limit of .08. Addison pleaded guilty to a lesser charge to settle the case. For his punishment, Addison paid a fine and received a year of probation.
The NFL suspended Addison for the first three games of the 2024 season.
Addison hauled in 42 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games this past season.
