Gaming provider IGT has announced a new partnership with Maverick Gaming, the owner of three Colorado casinos and the Play Maverick sports betting app.

The multi-year agreement will see IGT provide Maverick Gaming with its PlaySports turnkey solution, including self-service kiosks.

Maverick Gaming runs Grand Z Casino and Johnny Z’s Casino in Central City, in addition to Z Casino in Black Hawk.

Maverick Gaming’s sports betting app, Play Maverick Sports, will also see a full integration of IGT’s Player Account Management solution.

Commenting on the plans, IGT PlayDigital Senior Vice President, Enrico Drago, said: “By leveraging the IGT PlaySports turnkey solution, Maverick Gaming is positioned to benefit from the entire PlaySports value chain and operate a top-quality, cross-channel sports betting program.

“IGT will apply the experience and expertise that we have gained through our leading B2B sports betting operations in 15 US states to help fuel the success of Maverick Gaming’s Colorado sports betting enterprise.”

IGT has signed multiple supply agreements throughout 2020 despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In September, the supplier expanded into North Dakota with a partnership with the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

The supplier saw revenue of $982m for the third quarter of 2020, down 15% from the same period in 2019. Similarly, operating income was also down to a total of $129m, a 16% decrease year-on-year.
