Some employee personal information along with patron data might have been compromised.

The Indigo Sky Casino and Resort and Outpost Casino in Wyandotte Oklahoma have reported “unusual activity” on their computer network.

Outpost Casino said in a statement, “Upon identifying the issue, we promptly began an internal investigation, took steps to secure our systems and notified law enforcement.”

The company said it also enlisted the help of a security firm to look into the matter and ensure that they system was secure.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Outpost Casino found that “an unknown party acquired some documents from the system.”

According to the company statement, these documents “may have contained employees’ personal information, including names, driver’s license numbers, Social Security numbers and medical information.”

The company went on to say, “In addition, the documents may have contained some patrons' names and Social Security and/or driver’s license numbers.”

However, no banking or financial information was reported as compromised.

The company recently sent out notices to people who might have been affected by the issue and offered complimentary identity theft protection services and credit monitoring to those individuals.

Notices were sent by mail to those with valid addresses on file. Employees and patrons can also contact a toll-free number on the company’s website if they have questions or concerns regarding their personal information.

“We value the trust you place in us to protect your privacy, take our responsibility to safeguard personal information seriously and apologize for any inconvenience this incident might cause,” the company said in its statement.

Outpost Casino offers its guests more than 280 games and slot machines.
