Stakelogic has partnered with SkillOnNet to expand its presence in Ontario. The partnership follows last week’s announcement of a partnership with Rootz, signaling the provider’s entrance into the market with Rootz players gaining access to Stakelogic’s classic and video slot portfolio.
SkillOnNet the operator will receive similar access to Stakelogic’s portfolio, including its online slots and live casino software and games, powered by its partner studio Stakelogic Live. Games now accessible via the partnership include Wild Wild Bass 3, Roosters Mobs and Spiñata Piñata, while live games include Speed Baccarat, Spin to Win and Super Stake Roulette.
SkillOnNet has been in partnership with several providers and game studios, including a partnership with Peter & Sons earlier this month. The collaboration marked Peter & Sons’ first entrance into the Ontario market, with Peter & Sons’ Business Development Director and Co-Founder, Yan Bautista commenting on the company’s excitement to “enter a whole new market and to reach a completely new audience.”
Ontario is currently the only province in Canada offering regulated iGaming, having amended its regulatory regime in April 2022. Since then the market has grown significantly, generating CA$658m (US$489.8m) in Q3 2023 with a 36% year-on-year growth rate of operators entering the market.
Canadian Gaming Association (CGA) President & CEO Paul Burns described the market as, “I wouldn't say it's crowded, but it's comfortably cozy.” The full interview will be available in the January/ February issue of Gaming America.
