Stephanie Lau appointed VP at Konami

Lau joins Konami Gaming as VP of Sales Enablement and Gaming Operations to manage the company's business operations, sales operations and data analytics divisions.

Konami Gaming has announced the appointment of a new VP to lead Sales Enablement and Gaming Operations in 2024. 

The focus of the role will be to implement strategies, processes and procedures for the delivery of products to fulfil casino customer needs.

Lau has a long history of experience within the gaming industry at operators including Station Casinos and MGM Resorts, across sectors spanning both Tribal and commercial.

Lau joins Konami from Station Casinos where she held the title of Director of Gaming Analytics. In this role, Lau developed game strategy and technology for the operator.

Lau has also worked in finance and accounting roles with resorts across the Las Vegas Strip, including MGM Resorts.

SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming Jay Bertsch shared his thoughts on the appointment: “With nearly 20 years of distinguished experience in the gaming industry, Stephanie is bringing an important operator focus and data-driven approach to this key appointment.”

She has demonstrated an ability to drive exceptional results through gaming analytics, market strategy, product positioning, and customer engagement, which we look forward to sharing with the valued casinos we serve.”

In November 2023 Konami Gaming appointed Eric Schultz as VP of Studio Operations.

In other related news, Konami Gaming announced several partnerships last year across North America. These partnerships included a deal with Ocean Casino Resort in New Jersey as well as with Barona Resort & Casino in California.

Last November, Konami also joined forces with Xailient to launch Synk Vision into the casino industry using AI facial recognition technology.
