Circa Sports and ProhiBet have announced a partnership for the utilization of ProhiBet’s cross-monitoring and notification platform.
The aim of this agreement is for ProhiBet to help prevent specific individuals, such as athletes, coaches, league officials and administrations, from taking part in prohibited sports wagering.
The technology from ProhiBet provides a secure and transparent method for sports properties and sportsbook operators, to ensure athletes, coaches and league/school administrative staff remain compliant with the state regulations that govern sports betting activities.
This is yet another deal involving ProhiBet in recent weeks, with Tipico extending its deal with the company, before it was announced Action 24/7 had agreed a partnership with the provider of encrypted data transfer solutions for the sports betting industry.
ProhiBet’s Managing Director, Matt Heap, said: "We are excited to partner with Circa Sports. The fusion of ProhiBet's encrypted data transfer system with Circa’s commitment to sports integrity will elevate the transparency and credibility for both existing and upcoming bettors.”
Heap brings an abundance of experience for this role, having previously led sportsbook operations at the Colorado Division of Gaming.
In other Circa news, the sports betting operator announced yesterday that it had paid its professional football contest winners a total of $15.2m for the 2023/24 season, the highest payout on record.
Meanwhile, last week it was announced that Circa Sports is now live at the Las Vegas casino hotel, Silverton Casino Lodge, with the permanent sportsbook due to open in March.
