Texas Lottery partners with Space Perspective for scratch-off cards that could lead to space travel for four winners in 2025.

The Texas Lottery has announced a partnership with The Space Perspective, which will send four Texas scratch game players (and a guest each) on a trip aboard the Spaceship Neptune in 2025. The Space Perspective Cash Adventure Promotion will take winners 100,000 feet above the Earth and will include a chance for a further win of $100,000 during the flight.

Texans who would like to play for this opportunity can now purchase a $20 scratch ticket called the $1,000,000 Cash Blast. (More like cash blast off!) A series of drawings will occur before 75 winners and their guests will win a trip to Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, where the four Spaceship Neptune passengers will be selected.

The four-day/three-night trip to Florida includes a VIP event with a space theme thrown at the Courtyard Mariott Titusville Kennedy Space Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Kennedy Space Center, as well as meet an astronaut and take part in other daily prize drawings.

The $1,000,000 cash blast scratch-off cards are sold across the Lone Star State at various Texas Lottery retailers. Non-winning tickets can also be entered into Texas Lottery’s Luck Zone, which will lead to a further series of drawings

Jane Poynter, Founder and Co-CEO of Space Perspective, said, “Many Americans have only dreamed of space travel. We’re proud to partner with the Texas Lottery to give Texans a unique opportunity to experience the transformative power of spaceflight.

“We have completely reimagined human space travel with an option that is safe, accessible and gentle on our planet. With no training required, it’s as easy as being on an airplane. We can’t wait to welcome the winners to our one-of-a-kind Space Lounge.”

The six-hour prize voyage will include wifi and a dining experience aboard the carbon-neutral spacecraft. Space Perspective is a luxury, pressurized capsule the company has termed a SpaceBalloon.

Gary Grief, Executive Director of the Texas Lottery, said, “The Texas Lottery is always looking for new and creative ways to reward Texans with memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

"By partnering with Space Perspective, we’re excited to offer four winners and their guests a chance to take their place in space history with an unforgettable journey 100,000 feet above the Earth.”
