The duo will offer players mental health assessments and outpatient treatment options.

BetMGM has partnered with Kindbridge Behavioral Health, a mental health service provider, to offer Colorado self-excluded players access to group support services and comprehensive mental health assessments.

Through the pilot program, players can access resources and schedule appointments to receive immediate outpatient treatment via telehealth services.

Those who participate in BetMGM’s self-exclusion program in Colorado can also receive a complimentary mental health assessment. Players can begin their recovery from problem gambling with educational and peer support groups.

Kindbridge Behavioral Health Founder and CEO Daniel Umfleet took a moment to acknowledge BetMGM’s commitment to encouraging responsible gaming.

He commented, "Relationships like this make it considerably easier for individuals seeking care to find swift access to the services they need.

“Together, Kindbridge and BetMGM are pushing the envelope in creating the right kind of connectivity between the gaming industry and healthcare services that will positively impact lives."

To date, BetMGM has extended its digital footprint to include more than 25 jurisdictions. During the past year, the brand launched in six North American markets, including New York, Louisiana, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland and Ontario, Canada.

BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt discussed the importance of investing in a program that can aid those who struggle with gambling addiction and said the company is excited about its collaboration with Kindbridge Behavioral Health.

He said, "It is important that the sports betting industry continues to invest and innovate in this field. Kindbridge is a leader in developing world-class mental health care that comprehends the unique challenges associated with gambling addiction.

“We are eager to champion the growth and expansion of connecting problem gamblers with the crucial services they need.”
