10-year agreement includes annual revenue guarantee

Century Casinos, Inc., on Monday said it has signed an agreement to make Tipico its third internet sports betting operator partner in Colorado.

Century Casinos is a gaming company headquartered in Colorado Springs. Tipico is a U.S. sportsbook originally founded in Europe in 2004.

Century previously signed internet sports betting partnerships in Colorado with Circa Sports and bet365.

The companies said Century has obtained a master license with the State of Colorado. Tipico added it will complete the application and approval process with the State of Colorado and will operate an internet and mobile sports betting application under the Tipico brand.

Century said its online sportsbook operations agreement with Tipico is for 10 years. The agreement includes a one-time “market access fee” paid by Tipico to Century, plus a minimum annual revenue guarantee and a percentage share of net gaming revenue payable by Tipico to Century each year.

“Tipico is thrilled to partner with Century Casinos to bring our fully mobile sports betting experience to Colorado,” Adrian Vella, Tipico’s Managing Director, US Business, said in a statement.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Tipico Sportsbook, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship,” said Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co-Chief Executive Officers of Century Casinos.

Century Casinos has operations in Colorado, Missouri, West Virginia and in multiple locations in Canada. Through its Austrian subsidiary, Century Resorts Management GmbH, the company holds a 67% ownership interest in Casinos Poland Ltd., the owner and operator of eight casinos throughout Poland; and a 75% ownership interest in Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The company also operates four ship-based casinos.
