Rebranded Synergy Sports focuses on basketball offerings to bookmakers

Sports technology companies Atrium Sports, Keemotion and Synergy Sports Technology have merged and rebranded into one company: Synergy Sports.
Synergy Sports provides video support and data needs for US basketball leagues including the NBA, WNBA and NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball.
The company has also expanded its commercialization business to include partnerships with bookmakers. In the sports betting realm, Synergy Sports primarily offers video streams of international basketball leagues.
“We’re really feeding the need for the bookmakers to cover 24/7 time map for whenever a bettor wants to engage with them with having quality in order to do so,” Synergy Sports CEO Mark Silver tells Gaming America. “We’ve seen that demand go up across the board and again part of that is the technology catching up and being able to deliver that content, especially on the video side where we focus on a high quality way.”
Synergy Sports has seen popularity for international basketball wagering take off as the US sports betting market expands.
Silver says, “I think the demand has always been there but the access is becoming more prevalent and understood that there are other options besides just the major sports within the US as well as the fact that there are more and more people engaging in this now that it’s become more normalized and obviously legal throughout the US. It’s something that people are looking to do more and more.”
