Gambling.com Group signs international media agreement with The Independent

This marks the first global partnership for the company.

Acquisitions services provider Gambling.com Group has partnered with The Independent to extend its footprint within the UK. This is Gambling.com Group's first international media partnership.

Under the terms of the deal, Gambling.com Group will provide The Independent’s monthly online user base with expert online casino and sports betting content. Currently, The Independent offers digital media coverage to more than 20.8 million monthly users.

Through this is the first partnership for Gambling.com Group outside of the US, the company has previously collaborated with other media outlets associated with US newspaper publishers, The McClatchy Company and Gannett.

The Independent is part of Independent Digital News and Media Limited, a large digital media publisher in the UK. The brand will offer its readersaccess to extensive gambling coverage on one website as part of its partnership with Gambling.com Group.

The Independent Managing Director Christian Broughton described the collaboration with Gambling.com Group as a win for the company.

Broughton commented, “Gambling.com Group brings vast UK market operating experience having entered the market over 15 years ago. Partnering with Gambling.com Group, which has a strong record of success in the UK and a wealth of established partnerships with online gambling brands in the market, is a great benefit for our organization.
