Operator MGM Resorts International has donated $25,000 to the Nevada Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, as part of its mission to support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.

This generous donation was celebrated by a ceremony during Pride month, at an event held at MGM Grand’s Level Up.

The company said it takes immense pride in being involved with a community that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.

MGM Resorts has a history of commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, and advocates for these values in its own company.

To show its support of the LGBTQ+ community, the company offers free resources for its LGBTQ+ workforce to help find good-quality healthcare.

MGM Resorts was also one of the first gaming and hospitality organisations that offered same-sex health benefits to its employees in 2004, and will hold same-sex ceremonies at its chapels.

The company has many different locations featuring hotels, casinos, an array of restaurants and meeting and conference spaces.

The Human Rights Campaign even recognised MGM Resorts as one of the nation's “Best places to work for LGBTQ+ equality.”

This highlighted the company’s success in advocating for equality for its employees.
