Live Nation Canada will facilitate acts to be hosted at Great Canadian Entertainment venues.

Great Canadian Entertainment has announced an exclusive partnership with Live Nation Canada, to bring in huge names from music and comedy to Great Canadian venues across the country.

Both companies will promote the shows held at the venues, while Live Nation Canada will operate as the exclusive booking agent for the events.

This includes productions put on at the Theatre, a 5,000-person auditorium that will open alongside the CAD $1bn (US$746m) Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto later this year.

Additional venues that will benefit from this partnership include The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort, River Rock Casino Resort, Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, Molson Canadian Centre at Casino New Brunswick and The Schooner Showroom at Casino Nova Scotia.

Gavin Whiteley, Great Canadian Entertainment CMO, said, "We are thrilled to be partnering with Live Nation Canada, the premier live entertainment promoter in the world.

"This partnership will bring some of the biggest and most exciting artists to our exceptional venues, providing guests with unforgettable experiences they will cherish for years to come."

Great Canadian Entertainment currently has 25 venues across the country, consisting of gaming, entertainment and hospitality facilities.

Its latest project, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, will be the largest of its kind in the country.

Due to open this summer, the resort will encompass a 400-room hotel, the previously mentioned Theatre, an expanded covered parkade and numerous food and beverage facilities.
