Super Group releases annual meeting details

The company will hold its next meeting in June.

Super Group has scheduled its next annual shareholders meeting for June 12, 2023. The next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) will be preceded by a record date for voting, which will take place May 2.

Super Group said it will release additional details regarding the meeting, including how vested parties can participate in its next Super Group Proxy Statement and Notice of Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

The company said in a statement: The record date for voting at the AGM will be May 2, 2023. Further details regarding the AGM, including how to participate, will be included in the Super Group Proxy Statement and Notice of Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be made available to shareholders.

“Certain documents will be accessible at the Events and Presentations section of Super Group's investor relations website.”

The group went on to add: “Shareholders of record wishing to propose any business at the AGM must provide written notice to the company secretary at our principal office no later than May 15, 2023, such notice is to include all information as prescribed in the Super Group Articles of Incorporation.”

Super Group is the parent company of Betway, a sports betting and gaming business, and of Spin, a multi-brand online casino. It is licensed in 25 jurisdictions and is represented in markets throughout Europe, the Americas and Africa. The company also works to provide a safe gambling environment to its clientele.

The company recently closed the deal for its previously announced acquisition of online sports betting and iGaming company Digital Gaming Corporation Limited (DGC). Through the completed agreement, Super Group gained access to both online sports betting and iGaming markets throughout the US.
