MGM Resorts appoints Ben Winston to Board of Directors

An Emmy-award winning television producer and director has been appointed to MGM Resorts International’s board.

No stranger to the entertainment industry, Ben Winston has become the 12th board member at MGM Resorts.

Winston was a Founding Partner of production company Fulwell 73. He became the youngest producer of an American late-night show, as the co-executive producer of the Late Late Show with James Corden in 2015.

He directed ‘Friends: The Reunion,’which was one of the most-watched shows in HBO Max history. Winston has also produced music specials for popular artists, such as CBS’ ‘Adele One Night Only,’ and Disney+’s ‘Elton John, Farewell from Dodgers Stadium.’

MGM Resorts CEO & President Bill Hornbuckle said, “Ben has shown dynamic and creative leadership throughout his career, and we are thrilled to bring his expertise to MGM Resorts. This is an exciting time for the company. We know Ben will provide great insight and creative counsel to our management team as we evolve and execute our strategy.”

Paul Salem, Chair of the MGM Resorts board added, “We know that his vast entertainment experience will be a tremendous asset as the company continues to expand its gaming and entertainment offerings.”

Winston said of his new role, “I’m looking forward to working with my fellow board members to drive growth, building the best experiences possible for our guests.”

Winston’s prestigious television credits also include serving as Executive Producer of The Grammy Awards for CBS, as well as for ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu and ‘Carpool Karaoke’ on Apple TV+.

MGM Resorts International and BetMGM recently extended their contract with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and its GameSense responsible gaming program for another five years
