League fans will have access to exclusive content, as well as a new free-to-play title.

The XFL has selected Genius Sports to represent the league as an official betting distribution partner, as well as the league’s free-to-play provider.

Under the terms of the agreement, Genius Sports will hold exclusive distribution rights for all XFL games. The company will be able to deliver game content to its media network and betting partners worldwide.

In an effort to boost the league’s fan engagement, Genius Sports has created XFL Pick’Em, a free-to-play game designed to give fans the option to predict outcomes to upcoming XFL matchups and bet on games, specific players and teams. Through XFL Pick’Em, players can win weekly prizes ranging from gift cards to a trip to this year’s XFL Championship Game.

XFL Chief Business & Legal Officer Wendy Bass relayed the company’s long-term goals in relation to its partnership with Genius.

She said: “We continue to align ourselves with the best partners in the business to drive innovation and develop new ways to immerse our fans into the action of the game.

“Genius is a leader in exploring the new frontier of next generation fan engagement. By working with Genius, we can leverage their expertise across technology and data management to make the XFL a more compelling and dynamic viewing experience for the benefit of fans, partners, and stakeholders.”

Genius Sports recently turned its gaze toward new partnerships by signing agreements with 27 sportsbook customers last quarter, including those with Bally’s Interactive, MaximBet and NorthStar Gaming.

In addition to its sportsbook deals, Genius Sport has launched free-to-play games via its collaboration with several NFL teams, such as the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams.
