As a result, fans can access Pegasus World Cup pools over the weekend.

UK Tote Group has given its players access to wagering on daily North American thoroughbred racing through all of its digital platforms. Horseracing fans can now bet through text, mobile web and through the tote.co.uk domain, as well as through both iOS and Android apps.

The timing of this move allows fans to place wagers on the Pegasus World Cup pools, starting on February 4.

UK Tote Group Chief Executive Alex Frost noted the importance of addressing the demand placed on the brand by horseracing fans.

He said: “With pool betting being the main source of liquidity for US horse racing, this is a timely and important development for our customers, and the first time regular North American racing will be offered as a Tote product in the UK and Ireland on a daily basis.

"We remain committed to ensuring the reach of racing product continues to expand for our customers, and this is a further step to ensure UK and Irish Tote customers can bet into the biggest pools across the world.”

Tote has partnered with 1/ST Content, a North American content distributor to give its fans access to a variety of racing events. Through the agreement, players will have racecard content available to them through the North American racing package.

Simon Fraser, Senior Vice President International at 1/ST Content, said of the collaboration: “It's another exciting partnership with a brand synonymous with racing.

“We're looking forward to seeing how Tote customers receive the offering across a different time zone with an improved customer experience."
