The new agreement will see an initial five-year instant scratch games deal extended until August 2022. Under the terms of the extension, Scientific Games will remain as exclusive provider of Montana Scratch games.

The gaming provider has been a partner of the Montana Lottery since its creation in 1987 when it was selected as the sole primary instant games provider.

“We are delighted to continue our innovation with Scientific Games on Montana Scratch games for two more years through this contract extension,” commented Angela Wong, director of the Montana Lottery.

John Schulz, senior VP instant products for Scientific Games, said: “The Montana Lottery has always been a leader in launching scratch games that feature our newest manufacturing techniques and licensed brands.

“They are typically one of the first lotteries in the U.S. to try innovative approaches to traditional instant games, and we are honored by the trust they continue to place in our Company for more than 30 years”

Scientific Games has partnerships with more than 150 lotteries around the globe, including a significant number of US-based lotteries.
