Fans can access game coverage and content through the TSN+ streaming service.

Genius Sports Limited has signed a new agreement with Canadian sports network, TSN. The two will implement the newly launched TSN+ streaming service to offer football fans NFL game coverage, including augmented broadcasts during the playoffs and for Super Bowl LVII.

Football fans can access multiple features through TSN+ that include key player statistics, passes completed, rushing, passing and receiving yards, as well as route trails and radar maps. Bell Media holds exclusive television broadcast rights in Canada as an official partner of the NFL.

Bell Media Sports VP Shawn Redmond said: “TSN+ allows fans to go deeper into TSN’s world-leading live sports portfolio with augmented feeds, multi-casts, and additional featured content from our marquee properties, including the NFL.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Genius Sports to deliver these world-exclusive, data-enhanced augmented broadcasts for the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl LVII to TSN+ users.”

Genius Sports has functioned as the NFL’s official content distributor since April 2021. The initial partnership covered international markets but did not have a US focus, which is a key component of the expanded agreement.

Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke said the company is pleased to expand its content distribution by partnering with TSN.

He commented: “In partnership with TSN, we’re thrilled to be powering the most advanced NFL broadcasts available through a unique marriage between our state-of-the-art technology with an innovative new platform to deliver a football first for Canadian NFL fans.

“The NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl are world-renowned and we’re proud to be providing our full suite of broadcast augmentation tools to help bring fans closer to the action, transforming the way every play is experienced on TSN+.”
